Ex-McDonald’s CEO: Raising the minimum wage will help robots take jobs

A former McDonald’s chief executive is adamant when he says raising the minimum wage nationwide will just force companies to employ robots. "You’re going to see a job loss like you can’t believe," Edward Rensi told Fox Business Network. "It’s cheaper to buy a $35,000 robotic arm than it is to hire an employee who’s inefficient making $15 an hour bagging French fries." States, like New York and California, are set to raise the minimum wage in the coming years.
