Matargashti VIDEO Song -Tamasha | Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone | Out Now

The first song of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Tamasha has been unveiled and is titled Matargashti. The song features the movie’s lead pair and has been shot in the colourful Corsica.
In the video, the duo is seen doing matargashti in the beautiful locales of the French island. Watching Ranbir in the song will remind you of his Barfi! avatar as some of his steps are very Chaplinesque and towards the second half of the song, the Kapoor scion is seen imitating late superstar Devanand and the lyrics too go the ‘Dil Ka Bhanwar’ way. While Ranbir has a lot to do in the video, DeePee, well she is just there and adds nothing to it. The peppy number has been composed by A.R. Rahman and sung by Mohit Chauhan. Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics. The track is OK but one can’t see any chemistry between Deepika and Ranbir in the video.
Here’s hoping that the next song of the Imtiaz Ali-directed film will be able to enthrall us a little more.
