FX’s The Americans will end with fifth season in 2018 The Americans is coming to an end...but at least not for a while.
FX gave the acclaimed drama series a final two-season pickup.
A 13-episode fifth season will air in 2017 with a 10-episode sixth and final season following in 2018.
The announcement will give the showrunners plenty of time to put together a final spin on their tale of married Soviet spies.
Three episodes remain in the current season, with the season 4 finale airing June 8.
