How to use the Speed Dial in UC Browser

Okay, so let's have a look at the speed dial and some of the home screen features of UC Browser. So, here's the speed dial feature. You just tap one of the empty spaces and enter a web address, in this case Softonic. Then this will be added to your speed dial, meaning that, in future, you just simply tap on this icon and it will load the page that you've set. So, this speech dial appears every time you launch the application, which is handy. So it gives you quick access and by clicking move, you can toggle around all of the various shortcuts to position them at your leisure. It's very easy to delete, as well, shortcuts just by clicking the X button. There we are. We'll remove that. So, another nice feature is the ability to rename shortcuts. So, say you wanted to call the shortcut something else. You just click at edit and can change it there. Another useful feature is the quick read section available from the home page, where you get up to the minute news from various websites on the internet. One other feature that I like in the tablet version of UC Browser is this shortcut widget here, where you can customize which buttons that you'd like to appear here. Particularly of interest are the New Tab and the Close Tab buttons, which means here you can just tap to add new tabs at your leisure and also to take them away. Speaking of tabs, another nice feature of the speed dial is the ability to open in background tabs. So, when you launch up your browser, you can start opening all your favorite sites from the off. There we are. So, it's a useful way to get into the internet. UC Browser, I'd check it out now if I were you. It's available for Android tablets and there's a separate version for Android phones.
