Anil Kapoor To Remake 'Prison Break' For Indian Television

After buying the remake rights of US show 24 and making it in India, actor-producer Anil Kapoor is gearing up to remake another hit series for the Indian audience.
Buzz has it that Kapoor has purchased the remake rights of Prison Break and plans to make it in India. Confirming the same, Anil, who is currently busy with preps for the second season of '24' said that Prison Break is an emotional tale about sibling love and also has thrills galore, which makes it perfect for the Indian audience. When asked if Anil would star in it, the Mr. India said that though he would have loved to be a part of the series, he is busy with 24 and as such, it would not be possible for him to star in it.
Anil Kapoor will reprise his role as counter-terrorism operative Jai Singh Rathod in 24.
