Tourist And Trainer Dead In China After A Walrus 'Hug'

After a long-time trainer at the Xixiakou Wildlife Park in China jumped into the ungated walrus pool to rescue a tourist who had fallen in, both men ended up being ‘hugged’ by an apparently playful walrus and drowning to death.

Walruses are thought to be fairly friendly animals, but they can still be dangerous, as one incident in China shows. 
According to Shanghai Daily, a tourist visiting the Xixiakou Wildlife Park recently ended up falling into the ungated walrus pool.
