Sarbjit Movie Review | Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha
  • 8 years ago
Omung Kumar has this unique ability to make a film come to life. He did it in Mary KOm and he has done it in Sarbjit the story of a farmer in a village near Punjab and his sister Dalbir Kaur who fights for her brother till the end.

Aishwarya Rai plays Sarbjit’s sister and RAndeep Hooda is the protagonist playing Sarbjit himself. Sarbjit is a happy go lucky vibrant man filled with life and joy of living. Everything seems perfect till one day he strays into Pakistan land and gets arrested.
The story takes a turn here and the suddenly joyous family is subjected to lot of aggravation, tension, anxiety and emotional trauma. Richa Chadha plays Sarbjit’s wife Sukhpreet and the cast has really done full justice to the roles.

Aishwarya rules the movie with her grit and emotional silence and Richa lives the life of a distraught wife to the T. Randeep Hooda has put up a stellar performance as the aggrieved Indian and his transformation is worth seeing in the flick. Omung Kumar has done justice to the story and the actors only have proved that if one lives the character viewers can feel it.
Way to go the entire team of Sarbjit. We give it 4 stars.
