Canelo Alvarez Stripped of WBC Title, Negotiating Fight with Gennady Golovkin

Earlier this month Canelo Alverez defended his WBC title against Amir Khan. Now Canelo is voluntarily giving up the title because he and promoter Oscar De La Hoya did not want to sign a deal to fight Gennady Golovkin. The WBC took the title away from Canelo. Where does that WBC belt go?? To the interim champ Triple G of course!
