Mammootty, the megastar of M'town, is back with an 'achayan' character after a long gap. Thoppil Joppan, the upcoming Johny Antony movie will have Mammootty in the title character, Joppan. Interestingly, the actor's character Joppan is a planter who hails from Thopramkudy. He is a strong kabaddi lover and the captain of 'Cheers' kabaddi team. Eldo, Mathan, Aravindan, and Paappichayan are his soul buddies. Joppan is also an alcoholic, who tends to get into fights too often. The movie, which is scripted by Ordinary fame Nishad Koya, depicts the life of Joppan and friends, and the incidents which turns their lives upside down.
