Firefighters rescue cat stuck on an electric pole

A heartwarming video has emerged of firefighters rescuing a young cat stuck on an electric pole.
The video, shot earlier this month in Ain El Turk, Algeria, shows a firefighter climbing up the electric pole to try and grab the kitten when it walks off on the electric cable.
The rescuers eventually manage to make the cat fall onto a bed sheet they set up under the cable to break its fall.
According to the filmer, the cat, which can be seen running away at the end of the video, was fine after the rescue.
