Greenpeace activists climb Madrid building to protest TTIP
  • 8 years ago
Footage has emerged from Madrid, Spain, of Greenpeace activists climbing the Torres KIO building, protesting the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the EU and the US.

In the video, filmed this morning, a group of six activists scale one of the facades of the KIO Towers to hang a banner reading, " No to the TTIP".

Greenpeace says that TTIP tariff reductions and regulation changes would give a much-needed boost to businesses, putting social and environmental measures at risk.
