Apple invests $1 billion in China's version of Uber

Apple announced on Thursday that it had invested $1 billion in Didi Chuxing, the leading ride-hailing service in China. It was a surprise for a number of reasons, with the main one being that Apple is immensely dedicated to building its own car, possibly electric, according to a tip offered by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
