Video Shows Deepwater Jellyfish Fleeing From Perceived Threat

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released a video from its Okeanos Explorer project showing a deepwater jellyfish suddenly retracting its tentacles and fleeing after potentially becoming aware of the recording device.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA's Okeanos Explorer team recently released a video showing what appears to be an animal’s defense mechanism in action.
The footage shows a translucent form with a black outlined body and numerous diaphanous tentacles moving along in the water. 
The expedition team notes that it is indeed, a jellyfish. The video shows the creature moving to a darker area.
