Man gets tongue bitten off while attempting to rape young girl in France

TOULOUSE, FRANCE — Karma was swift for one man whose attempt at rape has led to an inability to ever French kiss again.
The Local reports that a 19-year-old woman, while walking home one night in the Purpan neighborhood of Toulouse in southern France, noticed a suspicious-looking man following her.
He managed to enter her apartment building and cornered her in the elevator. There, the 24-year-old attacker lunged at the woman, violently tearing off her blouse and demanding sex.
She allowed him to kiss her and then bit his tongue in two. The man fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of blood and his severed tongue.
Police alerted nearby hospitals to keep an eye out for a patient missing a tongue. When the man showed up at a hospital, he was promptly arrested.
He told a French court that the woman led him on, but his version of the events was dismissed. He was convicted and sent to prison on Wednesday, according to the Independent.
