Pickup truck trapped on a beach for eight hours

Footage, from China, of a pick-up truck driver who managed to get his vehicle stuck in the sea on a beach for eight hours.

The video, filmed in Dongxing, Guangxi Province on Monday, shows firefighters wading into the sea to try to get the stuck truck out.

According to local reports, the tide came in suddenly wettening and softening the sand so the truck got trapped.

When firefighters finally managed to get it off the beach, it wouldn't start.
