Amol Gupte To Make A Biopic On Saina Nehwal

Amol Gupte, who won critical acclaim with his last directorial venture Hawaa Hawai, is now ready to make a biopic on ace badminton player Saina Nehwal.
Front Foot Pictures Pvt. Ltd. has acquired the rights to make a biopic on Nehwal and they have roped in Gupte to wield the megaphone. Amole has been quoted saying that the film will trace Nehwal’s pulsating journey as the nation needs to know the story of ‘World No. 1 beti’, who is an inspiration for many.
Saina was ranked number one in the world by Badminton World Federation Women's Singles 2015. She is also the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics
