Indian Army soldier survived under 35 feet of snow for 6 days after avalanche.

Lance Naik Hanamanthappa, who was found alive six days after an avalanche hit an Indian Army base in Siachen, was flown to Delhi. He has been admitted to Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi. PM Modi and Army Chief General Dalbir Singh visited the hospital to meet the soldier. Hanamanthappa's family is also coming to Delhi from Dharwad to meet him
