Tyrannical homeowners’ association orders removal of zombie lawn ornament

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — A tyrannical homeowners association has ordered a Nashville resident to remove a zombie lawn ornament from his front yard.

Jim Grinstead lives on Harbor Lights Drive and kept the zombie in his yard unnoticed for five years. The out-of-stock zombie ornament once sold on sites such as Amazon and Skymall for more $100.

But now the Bayview homeowners association has ordered the zombie’s removal. Homeowners associations are the epitome of a human evil as villainous as Negan and his Saviors from the Walking Dead.

The purpose of a homeowners association is to maintain property values in a neighborhood. Do the officers of the Bayview HOA believe that Grinstead’s lawn ornament depresses property values?

According to Zillow, Grinstead’s home is actually one of the highest valued around.

Bayview doesn’t have a specific rule barring lawn ornaments or zombies. Nonetheless, Grinstead says he will remove the statue.
