Road safety: run-flat tires | Drive it!

A flat tire can ruin your day. It's not just tedious to jack up a car to replace a flat tire, it can also be dangerous, depending where you are located. Run-flat tires allow drivers to travel for a while after a puncture.

Until recently, there was no model suited to all cars. Now, Bridgestone has launched the 'Drive Guard' tire series. They have cooling fins on the sides, allowing Bridgestone to reduce the thickness of the tire's inside wall, giving cars smoother handling as well as extra security. The tires can be fitted onto any vehicle that has a tire pressure monitoring system.
