Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders discussed potential vice presidential picks Tuesday, even considering liberal darling Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren as a possible running mate.
Sanders was asked on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” if he would be open to naming a female vice presidential candidate, to which he replied he would.
Both Warren - who has not endorsed anyone yet - and Sanders have advocated through their careers for greater government regulation of Wall Street and the financial markets and the elimination of corporate influence on elections using money in politics.
