Diver rescues sea turtle entangled in a 'ghost' fishing net

Heartwarming footage of a diver racing against the clock to rescue an Olive Ridley sea turtle trapped in an abandoned fishing net.
The video, filmed off the coast of Gan in the Maldives, shows the diver frantically trying to free the animal. When he eventually manages to, it swims off into the ocean.
The filmer later wrote online: "The turtle was found on the surface of the net with its flipper entangled in ghost gear.
"We quickly got to work and removed the net from the turtle."
"When the turtle was free from the main net we noticed it still had fragment attached on the flipper but we managed to remove these too," he continued.
