Sairat (Marathi: "Wild") is an Indian 2016 romance film starring newcomers Rinku Rajguru, Akash Thosar in the leading role. It is directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Nagraj Manjule, Nitin Keni, and Nikhil Sane under the banner of Aatpat Production and Essel Vision Productions. Music is given by national award winning duo Ajay-Atul. The music will be released on 6th April 2016 at 8 pm.[1] The film is releasing in India on 29 April 2016.
Rinku Rajguru received a special mention for her acting debut in the film at the 63rd National Film Awards in 2016.[2] Sairat is first Indian film to record music at Sony Scoring Studios in Hollywood Los Angeles
The songs and background score for the film is given by composer duo Ajay−Atul who had earlier worked with the director Nagraj Manjule for his debut film Fandry (2013) for a theme song.[4] Manjule had story narration sessions with the duo soon after Fandry was released, during which composers came up with the song "Yad Lagala".[5] The music includes orchestral symphonies which was recorded at Sony Scoring Stage, first for an Indian film. The recording was conducted by Mark Graham with the help of 66 musicians as 45 string section, 6 piece woodwinds, 13 piece of brass including 6 piece of horn section and 1 harp
