Archaeologists in Boston are in the process of digging around the 1874 house where civil rights activist Malcolm X once lived in his teens.

Archaeologists are uncovering more about the life of civil rights activist Malcolm X.

According to NBC News, the archaeological dig is taking place at 72 Dale Street in Boston where the man, born Malcolm Little, lived with his half-sister during his teen years.

The idea for the project began in December when Malcolm X's nephew Rodnell Collins who owns the property wanted to open it for public tours; however, he first needed to renovate the foundation.
