Saudi officials: U.S. relations won't improve until Obama leaves office

President Obama met with Saudi Arabia’s new king Wednesday at a time when relations between the two nations are tense This was very clear when Air Force One landed in Riyadh and Obama was greeted by a small delegation with no usual world leader ceremony or television airings Senior Saudi officials made it clear that relations with the U.S. will only improve after Obama leaves office The Saudis are angry about the Iran nuclear deal and believe the next U.S. president will be able to  restore Saudi Arabia’s status as America’s key ally in the Middle East
