Climbing the Walker Spur on the Grande Jorasses in the Mont Blanc massif in summer is tough; climbing it in winter is a whole other level of commitment and difficulty. British alpinists Tom Livingstone and Pete Graham recently stepped up to the mark, taking three days to complete the route.

The story caused a bit of a storm on-line when they came down, about whether a summer route should be graded differently in winter.
