GoPro’s developer program aims to connect its cameras to cars, toys and apps
  • 8 years ago
GoPro quietly unveiled Thursday its new developer program, by which it wants to get its action cameras hooked into as many third-party devices, vehicles and services as possible. The Periscope integration was announced earlier this year. There’s also a snap-on time-code system you can use to sync your footage, a mount for kids’ toys from Fisher-Price and add-ons for tracking your route and vital statistics when doing sporting or extreme activities. Partnerships with BMW and Toyota also hint future auto applications.
