Giant improvised vegetable dildo stuck in man's anus removed after hour-long surgery

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA — A 55-year-old Costa Rican man underwent an extensive surgery after realizing the giant cassava root he had carved into the shape of a penis and forced into his anus wasn't coming out.
The man, mercifully unnamed in media reports, had whittled the root in a crude facsimile of an astonishing 18 inch-long, 3 inch-broad penis. He then rolled two condoms onto his creation and was ready to rock and roll. But his one-man party did not go as planned.
The coarse surface of the cassava schlong ruptured the condoms, it's fibers grabbed his rectal walls. We can only imagine the panic that shot through Dildo Man's mind when he realised trying to jerk it free could kill him.
The man was rushed to San Juan de Dios Hospital in San Jose in. Doctors spent more than an hour removing the root from the man's body then reconstructing his ravaged anus and part of his intestines.
Mauro Fernandez, a renowned sexologist in Costa Rica, told the Costa Rica Star that it is not uncommon that people are aroused by or have sex with food such as vegetables.
