OBRINT PAS live @ Main Stage 2012

Obrint Pas was founded in Valencia nearly two decades ago. It was the first band to combine the dolçaina, a traditional instrument of Valencia, with ska, reggae and melodic hardcore. This became their notable feature over the years.
Their music is a mix of a great variety of styles in the 7 published albums. They join traditional folk music from Valencia with ska, cumbia, blakan sounds, punk, dub and even dub step, jungle and drum'n'base in remixes of their latest works. Their lyrics are always combative and treat the poblems of youth, always including a strong component of social criticism.
After their tour with a magnificent live show on festivals all over the world, they will perform for the first time at the sunsplash this summer, enhancing even more the diversity of rhythms we will be able to enjoy. They will present their latest album 'Coratge', edited in Japan. It is supposed to be a return to the musical roots of the band.
