In the video, filmed in Shanghai on Wednesday, the woman can be seen reading and English language book loudly with passengers gathered around her.
The passengers try to tell her to stop but she really doesn't want to and starts arguing with them.
According to local reports, the 35-year-old woman is a single mother with a six-year-old daughter.
