Wallaby Joey Takes Her First Wobbly Steps, Falls Over
  • 8 years ago
Little wallaby Illawarra was abandoned by her mother and rescued by a Canberra wildlife organisation who nursed the tiny creature back to health. Wildlife carer Lindy Butcher told Storyful Illawarra was 600 grams when she came into care.“Illy’s development has been textbook. Although her bag was hanging over a carpet she chose to go onto the slippery floor. She is now off trainer wheels and hurtling around the house at great speed. She was very attached to her dummy for a few weeks.”
