Dog returns home with big bag of weed from god knows where

LAUREL, MISSISSIPPI — Jones County deputies are investigating a strange drugs case after Miley, a black labrador, returned home Saturday and presented her owner with a large bag of marijuana.
Deputies were dispatched to investigate the bizarre incident and found that the canine had recovered about a pound of the substance. Police say that the dog's owner thought it was a trash bag at first, but found its contents to be leafy and smelling like marijuana. The owner isn't a suspect in the case.
The circumstances surrounding how Miley came into possession of the bag remain unknown, but are under investigation by authorities.
