A store without a store-keeper

The coastal town of Viken in Sweden is experimenting with the concept of an unmanned store. There are far fewer of the local amenities in Viken that city dwellers take for granted. This concept could bring 24/7 shopping to rural villages and towns. Customers use a smartphone app to access the store and buy products. The shop has milk, bread, sugar, canned food, diapers and other products that you expect to find in a small convenience store. The unmanned store functions on trust and involves no cash transactions. It doesn't have tobacco or medical drugs because of the risk of theft. 6 surveillance cameras are also there to observe customer activities.
