NASA’s Opportunity rover, which has been investigating the Red Planet since 2004, snapped a photo of a particularly impressive dust devil.
Much like Earth, Mars gets ravaged by dirt devils from time to time.
Astronomers have been tracking the whirling columns of dust and air for some time, but recently got a glimpse of a particularly impressive one.
The close-up look came via a photo taken by NASA’s Opportunity rover, which has been investigating the Red Planet since 2004.
