Erdogan and Biden confer on sidelines of nuclear summit

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden held talks in Washington on Thursday (March 31) on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on Wednesday it was probable that U.S. President Barack Obama would "make at least a little time" to meet with Erdogan as well.

Followiing the meeting with Biden, Erdogan was due to deliver a speech at the Brookings Institution think tank on the security challenges facing Turkey.
