God values forgiveness over many other characteristics

ADNAN OKTAR: People always ask God to forgive their every sin, every mistake. But mankind has an inherent desire to punish even the smallest mistakes in the most cruel ways. This is wrong. This is not what God wants us to do. Almighty God says in the Quran, "Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant." In other words, God values forgiveness over many other characteristics. Because, human soul finds great pleasure in vengeance. In other words, it gives satisfaction to the lower self. It is quite difficult to forgive. It requires willpower and wisdom. Because, people cannot achieve satisfaction by forgiving others. But vengeance is quite satisfying. For this reason, God values forgiveness above all else. But look, people believe that God will forgive them, but they do not want to forgive others. This is unacceptable. They should know how to forgive others the way they know God will forgive them.
