Indiana passed a controversial law related to abortions on Thursday. Gov. Mike Pence signed a bill into law that bans abortions because of fetal genetic defects such as Down syndrome.

The Washington Post is reporting that, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, signed a bill into law that bans abortions because of fetal genetic defects such as Down syndrome.
North Dakota passed a similar measure in 2013. 
Pence is quoted as saying the bill is “a comprehensive pro-life measure that affirms the value of all human life.”
