China is restructuring its economy to favor developing innovations. Now the government in Beijing is calling upon domestic enterprises to move more aggressively against foreign competition. We talk to Sandra Heep of the Mercator Institute for China Studies about this new "national champions" strategy and its possible effects on the German economy.
