LADY GAGA BEST VMA PERFORMANCES & MOMENTS: MEAT DRESS, PAPARAZZI PERFORMANCE

Hey there Little Monsters! It is no secret that MTVs Video Music Awards and Mother Monster are BFF. Gaga made her VMA debut back in 2009 when she walked the red carpet in a black witch outfit complete with feathers, pink hair, and a black top hat. During the show Gaga made her stage debut performing "Paparazzi" in one of our favorite VMA performances ever. Dressed in white thigh highs, ity bitty bottoms, a crystalized corset, adorned with black raccoon eyes, she made quite the statement. Starting the performance on the ground, her fame monsters picked her up, they rebelled with sexy dance moves against the paparazzi and threw their paws up! At one point, after sitting down at the piano for a verse, Gaga got up to reveal a fame had killed her with blood dripping down her torso. Gaga ends by hanging herself in dramatic defeat. Luckily, she survived somehow and accepted her Best New Artist award in a red see through lace dress and matching crown. I mean, who could forget that face mask? Fast forward to 2010 Gaga stole the award show once again with her infamous real meat dress. But before the meat came out, we saw Gaga as a Goddess on the red carpet before the show donning a byzantine frock with gray and blue wig and gold feather headpiece. During the show she wore a black Armani gown with pointy nipples while accepting Best Pop Video" from the Glee cast, yes Cory Monteith and Gaga had a moment. At the end of the show Gaga returned to the stage debuting the meat dress while accepting the Moonman "Video of the Year" for her "Bad Romance" video from the legend Cher. Hopefully Cher is not a vegetarian. In her acceptance speech Gaga emotionally previewed "Born This Way" by belting out lyrics to the unheard song and it sounded flawless. Moving on to 2011, Jo Calderone was born. Remember when Gaga dressed up like a man and opened the VMAs singing and dancing? Yup. The opening performance included a long monologue roasting Lady Gaga and then a rendition of "You & I" at the piano. In the bizarre opening number Jo wore a plain white t shirt, black jacket and black wig complete with sideburns. Reactions from celebrities in the audience were priceless including Adele and Katie Holmes who look stunned. I was in the audience too that night, and I have to say at the time I had no idea what was going on. I wasnt sure if that was Gaga or her long lost twin brother. And last we move on to 2012 VMAs- oh wait, Gaga wasnt there. And after all the critical analysis of Gaga being snubbed at the 2012 VMAs with no nominations or appearances she will offiically make her return this year at the 2013 show in Brooklyn.
