Masks of the Psyche: Shaping Personality at Will

Some people believe that one has the ability to control what parts of our personality and what emotions are coming forth at a given time, and methods have evolved to this end. I am not saying that this is "true" or not. Whatever the case may be, here I will explain several simple methods. In previous videos I spoke on techiniques of self-hypnosis, conscious auto-suggestion, neuro-linguistic programming, etc.
Today, I will talk about the simple and easy method of thinking of an image of success, joy, wisdom, etc and simply stepping into that image. Some people may employ color symbolism or to see themselves imbued with a certain energy. Symbols are also often used to bypass the conscious mind and reach the subconscious. My way of looking at this is that it never hurts to try something, right? So why not try this method out? This might be a very effective tool that can be used to vastly improve one's life.
