Vladimir Putin announces withdrawal of Russian troops from Syria

Russian president Vladimir Putin orders the withdrawal of the majority of Russian troops from Syria, during a statement in Moscow on Monday. He also asks the foreign ministry to participate in a peace process. The pullout is due to start from Tuesday.
