3 Cool Facts About the Iditarod Dog Sled Race

The 44th Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is underway, but it needed some help last week, due to lack of snow in Anchorage. So they had to bring in 7 rail cars of the white stuff. The usual 11-mile ceremonial start route had to be shortened to 3 miles.
