Spa Castle is a 'sex spa' that 'looks like a porn set,' says New York Post report

NEW YORK — Family-friendly relaxation center or sex spa? That's the question being posed about Spa Castle, New York City's largest spa center founded by a Korean businessman in 2005 on 11th Ave. in Queens.
The New York Post recently printed an expose with quite a bit of photographic evidence that appears to suggest that many couples at the spa are engaging in sexual activity — in full view of other patrons which include both children and octogenarians.
Reports claim the spa is popular with exotic dancers after they get off their shift, and just after it opens at 6 a.m., one can reportedly find all manner of intimate activities going on just below the surface of the spa pools.
Some told the New York Post that they had witnessed both heterosexual and homosexual sexual activity both in the water and in dressing rooms. While others have reported similar stories that allegedly occurred in the spa's indoor Jacuzzi areas as well.
Spa Castle representatives were unwilling to offer comment to the New York Post but officials from the New York City Health Department say they've heard more than one allegation and in mid-February they temporarily closed the facilities' outdoor pools for violating health regulations. That closure is currently being appealed.
