Babusar Pass Polo Cup Part-02

The tournament signifies Babusar’s geographical location, lucid atmosphere and newly constructed NHA road which will provide easy access to Northern Areas from Naran and Kaghan valleys.

The festival also includes Tug of war, Tent pegging, Paragliding, Photo Exhibition, Gemstone Exhibition, Handicrafts Exhibition, Trekking, Horse Riding and camp Fire. To add more charms to the event, Himalayan Holidays, a private tour operator led By Najeeb Khan will set up the largest commercial Tent village for 600 people at the altitude of 4173 metres (13812) where the temperature at night will be -3 on a sunny day.

Babusar Pass is located in District Diamer of Northern Areas. It is located at a distance of 35 Kms from KKH near Chilas, which takes two hours drive to Babusar. The Babusar pass can also be reached through Mansehra, via Kaghan valley covering a distance of 200 Kms.

The Babusar Pass is 4173 meters (13,812 feet) high with lush green mountains covered with thin forest, beautiful lakes in the surroundings:
Karoi Lake, Gali Lake, Purbuniat Lake and Khutu Lake.
