While theres a lot of excitement surrounding Ryan Murphys true\r
crime anthology series, American Crime\r
Story, at least one person has some trepidation about the first\r
installment, which will cover the O.J. Simpson murder trial. \r
Kris Jenner admitted that her “feelings are truly mixed”\r
when it comes to the series, dubbed The\r
People vs. O.J. Simpson, because of her own personal history with the\r
story. “It was such a tragic story,” Jenner told ET at Kelly\r
Rutherfords event for the Childrens Justice Campaign. “Its something that\r
you know youll never be able to get over in any kind of a way where you dont\r
think about it all the time.” \r

Before she was the matriarch of the Kardashian clan on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Jenner\r
was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson, who was tragically killed in 1994. Her\r
ex-husband, O.J. Simpson, was tried for her murder with Jenners own ex, Robert\r
Kardashian, serving as a member of former athletes “dream” defense team. “Nicole was so dear to my heart, and I think about her and\r
have such great cherished, treasured memories forever in my heart,” Jenner added. \r
During the highly publicized trial, Jenner – who was\r
pregnant with Kendall, her first child with then-husband Bruce -- sat in court,\r
wearing her late friends hand-me-down maternity clothes. \r
“When these things come back up, its like it was a minute\r
ago sometimes,” Jenner said of the trial, which happened just over two decades\r
ago. As Murphys show takes shape, the casting news continues to\r
roll out with the latest being that Selma Blair has been cast as Jenner. “I\r
think shell do a great job,” Jenner said of the announcement. \r
