Boris lets her stay for a few nights, and quickly Melody settles in. Boris’s cynical comments are unable to rattle her lust for life and gradually this strange couple learn how to live together. Despite his superior intellect, Boris eventually begins to appreciate the company of this simple young woman, and against all odds they even end up marrying, with each finding their balance in the differences of the other.
