Error 00 basically means problem with autofocus. Sometimes this error occurred because the lens wasnt connected properly initially and can be fixed when the lens is disconnected, then reconnected. In my case the problem was caused by the lens cap (YES-THE LENS CAP!). I accidentally drop my camera on the airport floor, it falls on the lens cap, and that makes the front glass to go more inside than must be. The design of their caps must be on the whole lens, not only on the glass.
