A mylar balloon is believed to be involved in the Wednesday night death of an 8-year-old girl living in Portland, Oregon.

Balloons present significant risks for children, and, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, are linked to suffocation more often than any other child product.
One of them is believed to be involved in the Wednesday night death of an 8-year-old girl living in Portland, Oregon, reports KOIN. 
That evening, she was found in her bed not breathing and with a mylar balloon on her head.
The family called 911, and the girl’s father administered CPR. 
Rescue teams arrived quickly but she could not be revived,
