China says US should stay away from sea dispute

China’s construction of military infrastructure was “consistent with the right to self-preservation and self-protection that China is entitled to under international law, so there should be no question about that.”However, though it welcomes peaceful negotiations among countries involved, Hong Lei, spokesperson for Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on Wednesday that countries--subtly referring to the United States of America--outside the regions should stay away from resolving the sea dispute.
