When Claudia Kessler saw the first moon landing on television she decided she wanted to become an astronaut. She graduated in aerospace engineering before joining HE Space Operations, which locates experts for the aerospace industry. Around half of the highly talented and highly paid recruits are women. In Kessler’s experience, mixed-gender teams tend to be more creative.
