106-year-old Virginia McLaurin had her wish come true of meeting President Obama at the White House and she did not hold back her enthusiasm.
106-year-old Virginia McLaurin had a dream of visiting the White House one day and when it was finally fulfilled, she could hardly contain her excitement.
In a video posted to the White House Facebook page on Sunday, McLaurin can be seen having an enthusiastic interaction with President Obama and the first lady.
As soon as he greets her, she responds with a loud "hi!" then tells him "it's an honor, it's an honor."
And when Obama says "you want to say hello to Michelle?" McLaurin says "YES!" and starts to run over to the first lady.
At that point, the president jokingly asks McLaurin to slow down.
